I once thought the morning show DJs for the station my parents listened to were married. They were not/are not.

So don't worry about it, OP, at some point, I think everyone has this idea that two people who work together are married because being married is something kids have seen more of/are more familiar with than business partners. I think it takes a while before kids distinguish different levels of friends/acquaintances. To them there's "friends" or "spouses".
