I can never decide if you're just incredibly stubborn and willfully ignorant, or if you legitimately can't empathize with black women as humans. You *really* don't get why they are so protective of Uhura. You *really* don't understand that the stereotypes black female characters are subjected to in media are different to white women. I don't get it. It's not hard to grasp? You seem intelligent enough?

It's pretty easy to tell when someone really loves and ships a pairing. They read, and sometimes even write, romantic fic. Lots of it. It's the bread and butter of fandom shipping. *You* occasionally reblog a gifset or piece of pg+13 Scotty/Uhura, (in between the mountain of Spirk you post), but your sole contribution to this pairing that you are *so* passionate about, is arguing condescendingly with black girls on tumblr about reboot Uhura/Spock and how it's terrible in comparison.

Wtf?

If the people cheering you on in this thread had witnessed your embarrassing racefail re:uhura over the last few months, they would be telling you to stfu already. I guess you got sick of people on tumblr calling you out and had to come here for a pat on the back?
