The Maze Runner

Did anyone else see it? What did you think? I thought Dylan O'Brien was perfectly cast as Thomas and for the most part, the movie stayed faithful to the book.

I'm hoping to go Saturday. Still haven't read the book though... I DID start it a longgggggg while back when I first heard Dylan was cast but the language sort of irritated me. I think it would've been fine and I would've grown used to it if I had just kept reading, but I got distracted by something I deemed more interesting. (I do this often. Oops.)

Might try to read it before then, but I have a feeling it won't happen. (Especially since the new tv season is here.) Still...I'm looking forward to seeing Dylan in something other than Teen Wolf. He's amazing.

I don't think you *have* to read the book first, but there is one big thing that was left out, along with other minor changes.

He is so good in the movie. Totally different from Stiles. I don't think he needs to worry about his career after TW ends.

I'll probably read it after then, if not before.

I've never doubted Dylan's future in acting! I hope the movie does well, but either way I'm sure he'll be fine.

Haven't read the book, but I thought the trailer looked interesting. Would you recommend the film to someone who hasn't read the book?

Sorry for the late reply - hope you get it. You don't have to have read the book first in order to enjoy it. I do recommend reading it eventually though because it's good and there are differences.

I haven't read the Book or seen the movie, but I've heard People say the exact opposite on faithfulness, too the point that it was almost unrecognizable.

Yay! Glad to hear a good review. I'm excited to see it, but probably won't get to until next week. Then i'll have to get the book from the library, heh, 'cause the movie will be fun but the book *after* will give me neat details and whatnot it left out.

:)
