I saw Twin Peaks, a million years ago, when it first aired, and I've forgotten all about the blue roses... Maybe it's time for a rewatch.

There seem to be a lot of people offering it for Yuletide this year, and I've seen some great Twin Peaks fics, so maybe ask and you shall receive! I'd write an ALL CAPS GORDON COLE FIC!
