Re: Fratboys
i think we have more respectable sororities than frats though, since from my own experience i've noticed greek women are just more pleasant in general. i'm not in a sorority because i'm not interested in greek life but a lot of the stigma sorority girls have come from campus men who like to spread rumours about how sorority houses are technically legally classified as brothels or some shit (they obviously aren't).
and most of the "negative" stereotypes you hear about greek girls are things that you find in girls from all sorts of backgrounds, whether greek or not. i know a lot of girls who want to do nothing but party and get drunk and sleep around (and lets be real that stuff is fun) but honestly the only girls i know who build their college experience around those activities are non-greek students who eventually withdrew from classes.
note that i don't think wanting to party and fuck around all the time are inherently negative things, but if they impact your academic progress then it's safe to say that your party habits are interfering with your education, and i'll remind you that almost all sororities (and fraternities) have rigorous academic standards.
