I...don't get music. At all.

I get how it creates mood & atmosphere in films/tv/theatre but I don't seem to have the same emotional response to that music other people seem to do. I hate it when people put the radio on at work because it just becomes uncomfortably overwhelming making me unable to concentrate properly and make mistakes. It's not because I'm trying to listen to it, it sort of...hurts.

You know, I think most lyrics, even good lyrics, aren't very good without the music they go with. The music really makes you feel something and the words punctuate the feeling you get from it.
