so I'm a lamer and completely forgot about this until right now, but here's some more wuxia films that sound interesting from their blurbs:

The Chinese Connection--Bruce Lee kicks a "No Dogs or Chinese" sign in half.
The Chinese Boxer-- One of the first modern Kung Fu films
Five Fingers of Death(/King Boxer)--Karate Kid, but bloodier and more awesome
The Flying Guillotine--okay this one doesn't sound very good but it's got a guy with a portable ranged-weapon guillotine fighting a guy with a sharpened umbrella, I kind of had to do it
Snake in the Eagle's Shadow--Jackie Chan's first hit movie
A Touch of Zen--based on a classic short story, sounds a lot like Crouching Tiger
Dragons Forever--Sammo Hung, Jackie Chan, and Yuen Biao all in the same movie

to keep this from being useless, let's use this space to recommend your favorite obscure genre films
