He's a bit older than me, but most the people around me are getting married and having kids too. It's an odd feeling for me because I still feel like a kid myself! I can't imagine having one of my own.

No shit; one of my middle school friends (who was actually part of the writing circle I talk about a bit further down) not only has a kid and got married, but is in the process of getting a divorce. I'm just sitting here going, "How did you two manage to spend so much time together you got sick of each other?" I mean, I'm just barely getting the hang of the whole "marriage" thing, never mind divorce!
