Virtually every kudos I get is anonymous. It isn't because they're kinky; most of them are not, and my most popular work by far is a gen longfic. I see kudos fairly regularly, especially on that gen fic, but still - 90-95% of them are anonymous.

Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful for any sign that someone liked the fics. But I wish more people would leave logged-in kudos, purely because I'm in a tiny older fandom with a closed canon, and I have literally NO idea who's reading my fics. None.

I've always assumed that people just can't be bothered to log in, but the reading-via-phone hypothesis sounds likely too.

Not to mention that now I'm wondering if people imagine I may have inflated my kudos count by upvoting myself :-(
