UGH. Just because my personal style preferences and interests tend to align more with masculine stereotypes does NOT MEAN I'M GENDERFLUID OR GENDER QUEER OR WHATEVER OTHER BOX YOU WANT TO SHOVE ME IN SO YOU CAN TALK ABOUT YOUR NONBINARY FRIEND!

And this really bothers me, because it took me a long time to come to terms with myself -- when I was a kid, I'd be in tears that I was a girl, not a boy, and was stung like hell when my mom's unprompted response when I went to get my hair cut short was "I already raised one son!" But regardless of whether I was pushed into being happy with myself or whether I just figured myself out, the point is, I'm happy with myself as I am. A woman who has specific tastes and interests.

So fuck off, bitch.

Sort of related? but I hate having a deep voice as a woman. It fucking sucks to go on vent or whatever for games and have guys tell me I was 'pretending' to be a woman because I 'sound' like a man. I'm cisgendered. Hey, women can have low voices and men can have high voices. It's not my fault I 'sound like a dude'.
