It really is! I loved that she was bold enough to go out with no underclothes so she and her husband could have a little fun out and about, and he was totally into just going down on her.

I wish they'd have found a younger guy for Jamie, because believing *that* guy was a virgin was a bit much, but !

Man = virgin, Woman = experienced and sexual is *another* awesome twist that i loved.

Yes, totally about the flipped experience levels.

I can't say I know much about Scotland in that time period, but would virginity have been as unusual as it would be today?

I honestly don't know, except he's a man on the run, whose been in war, and spent a lot of his time in dire straits, as it were. It just seems that a little 'comfort' on some cold Highland night wouldn't have been unusual, please we saw prostitutes that no one seemed to particularly upset about, or tried to shame, so.... I dunno.
