My day was just bad.

First, my bus was 45 minutes late which meant I was 20 minutes late to my allergy appointment, so I had to wait. Then my body refused to react to the skin test for things I know i'm allergic to. Only reacted to dust mites. So had to do the full on, under the skin, poked with lots of needles. Only reacted to dog this time. So now they want to do a blood test. Only it has been 4 hours and I'm dehydrated at this point and they stick me 4 times and can't get blood. So now i have to go back tomorrow to get the blood test.

So, coming home, a guy who is bigger than I am sits down on the seat next to me on the train where there is not enough room for him. And sits on my hip and refuses to budge at all. I get it. I'm large too, and the train seats are not big enough. But when you can't fit in the seat that is free, you don't sit. You don't sit on top of people. And then his girlfriend, standing in front of us, at one point lets go of the pole to hold his hand. And, of course, the train jerks and she ends up in my lap.

Then I waited 30 minutes for the bus again. And got super carsick on the ride home.

I've now taken benadryl, ordered Chinese food, and am watching old Project Runways. So at least the day is ending slightly better. I really would like a drink, but the benadryl was more important given how itchy my arms still are.

Eeeep. That all sounds terrible.

My daughter got her 15 month shots today. She was not happy.

It wass not fun and for little result, which is frustrating. I'm trying to set up to get the shots, but if the testing is saying I don't have seasonal allergies and am not allergic to cats or feathers, then I can't get the shots to get rid of those allergies even though I have them.

Ick. You're poor daughter. Hopefully she'll be happy again soon. :)

Mine is good, solely because it's kinda overcast, which I love since it isn't a common phenomenon where I live.

I had a very good day today!

Woke up at noon, watched some episodes of Free!, had dinner out with a friend, watched the rest of Free! (Tears were shed), and then started watching Outlander. Also I finally got around to doing my dishes that have been piling up.

It was really nice to have a day where I didn't really do anything as I really needed it, but it's back to being responsible and actually do some studying tomorrow.

Terrible. My boss has me listing products online so I have to sit at a computer desk all day. Makes my butt hurt.

Tiring, but good.

I worked in the morning, which is good news. Then went to see a movie with the bf. Life could be worse.

I got my braces off and finished physical therapy. I also got to the library and discovered that my library has some of the IDW Transformers comics (in the "kid comics" section, for some reason, but they're still there). In general, a good day.

Got money for doing basically nothing. My parents signed me up for a medical study when I was born, and every few years they call me in to answer some questions about my respiratory health and breathe into a computer and then pay me for it. Also finally got some sculpting done on one of my ponies, although I'll have to wait until it cures to see if I'm really done or if I need another layer.

I probably said too much in one of my classes. One of my professors was really pushing the "never ever ever give up! failure is not an option!" thing and that just really doesn't work for me. There are tangible negative effects on my body that would not be there if I had given up on something sooner. I think flexibility should be more encouraged. But to the class I looked really negative and fatalistic and my anxiety was driving me crazy.

Taking the bus back to where my parents live for the weekend. Hurrying a bit to make the bus only to find out when I get there that it's not going to show up for another hour

So I'm sitting at Starbucks screwing around on my laptop. Whoooooo

I had a fantastic work out! I've lost ten pounds since i started at the first of Aug, and my endurance is steadily increasing. I'm up to 45 minutes of moderate to intense cardio 4-5 days a week (working up to 7) and some weights, alternating muscle groups. yay!

Pretty good! I had a day off for the first time in way too long, so I just hung around doing pretty much nothing, and it was really nice.

Mine wasn't terrible. We have a few new staff members. Three seem competent/nice but I am reaaaally trying to reserve judgement on the fourth when one of the first things she said to me was, "But whyyyyy don't you want kids??" (I was talking to another co-worker about how I was glad our co-workers keep getting pregnant so I get to knit stuff. XD) and, "Whyyyyy do you cut your hair so short???"

I should have answered, "Because I'm heathen lesbian!" but didn't think of it, even if the lesbian part is a lie. And not that it's any of her business but, a) I like my hair short because I'm a lazy bastard who barely knows how to work a comb, b) the longer my hair gets the younger I look, and I already get carded for lottery tickets at 30 years old still, and c) because I have about six different medical conditions and my hair falls out a lot, and it's worse when it's long.

I'm also getting sick and tired of a co-worker who does nothing recently but complain at work about EVERYTHING. Look. We're transitioning to automated dispensing cabinets on the ward floors (I work in a hospital). Shit is going to be annoying and complicated for the next two years while everything gets rolled out and settled. Yes there is talk of us going 24 hours because of work flow and wanting to stay out of the nurses' way while restocking the cabinets. It's healthcare. It's a 24/7 business. If you don't like it, go back to retail or find a new career path. It was bound to happen eventually. I know you have kids, but guess what, so does nearly everyone else in the department and they're not bitching about maybe having to work the occasional overnight (she already bitches about having to work weekends too).

I hate that I'm tired of her because I feel like I spend more time than I'd like complaining about her complaining but she's getting on my last nerve and fraying it to pieces.

A bunch of people from an old chat and forum I used to hang out at 15 years ago have been having a sort of Internet Class of 1998 reunion and it's been pretty emotional. We were all pretty screwed up kids at the time, some of us dealing with absolutely horrific home and school conditions. A lot of stuff is coming out about how a couple people (who were not invited to this little group therapy session we got going) were legit sociopaths who were manipulating everyone for their own ends. We were all pretty horrible to each other because of this stuff but a lot of us have maintained connections and consider them family.

On top of that I had a long evening at tax prep class. That was my day.
