Ooo, you've heard things? Then I will look forward to it! I'm def going to try to keep up this time instead of binge watching, I just hope this season is a little more of the core four and a little less of everyone else. (Also, just let Steve and Danny spend time together. You know they want to, stop fighting it. Also, give Kono some fucking screentime and her own storyline not connected to her bf.)

Apparently Steve and Danny have to go to couples therapy and the actors said they had a blast filming it and hope that they have to go back again in the future. Which sounds fun (and reminds me of Common Law!) so I'm looking forward to it.

I'm a little unsure how much core four time we'll get with the new characters (I don't know why they keep insisting on adding new characters when none of the past ones have really worked out all that well) but I guess it's one of those things where we'll just have to wait and see. And I totally agree about Kono! (Well, and Steve and Danny spending time together but I think that's pretty much a given lol.)

You just made me go from "Okay, I'll watch" to "Holy shit snacks, give it to me now!" (I'm such a sucker for that trope. Such a sucker. Yessssssssssssssssss, delicious couples therapy. Now who is going to write the fic where Wes and Travis meet Steve and Danny in couples therapy? You better do it, fandom!)

...Annnnnnnnd of course I get all excited then you mention new characters. The last thing this show needs is new characters, CBS. Wise up, you losers. (You had a nice formula! Stop trying to muck it up!)

Aww sorry for mentioning the new characters! But aside from random guest stars, I think the only new(er) main(ish) characters are Chi McBride and Jorge Garcia's from last year (Grover and...Jerry? I'm not positive on his name and am too lazy to look it up) so I guess it could be worse? I mean, I wish it was still just the four, but I think those two fit into the rest of the cast at least a little better than other characters have in the past.

I did read something that said they were going to wrap up the Steve mom's thing once and for all early on in the season, though, so that's good at least!

I loved Chi McBride in Boston Public but I am not feeling him at all in H50. Thankfully I knew he was going to stick around for this season so it isn't a huge shock, but my feelings are pretty much 'meh' about that. Jorge Garcia is adorable, but I hope he isn't a regular...his character is okay, but in small doses. Having him every episode would get annoying fast, imo.

God, I hope you're right. They've been dragging out Steve's mothers storyline for wayyyyyyyyy too long and now it's just frustrating.

I'm meh on him here as well but I just think it could be worse lol. And I'm pretty sure I read that Jorge Garcia is going to be a "regular" in the way that Kamekona is, so he pops up now and then but isn't in every episode.

I know! It's really gotten old. Hopefully they can wrap it up soon (and hopefully in a way that isn't TOO dumb) and move on to something more interesting.
