A Norwegian children's movie called "Kaptain Sabeltann og Skatten i Lama Rama" (Translates to Captain Sabretooth and the Treasure in Lama Rama). My friend has had a crush on the titular character since she was five so she's dragging me along, but I'm sure it'll be fun! C: (Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-Xhxgt9VBs)

And nah, don't have any exams, just a couple of papers due in mid-October. But I should really get around to read for them and begin a draft at least.

Wow. That looks really cool. Have the movies been coming out for a while or is this a remake (since your friend liked it when she was 5)?

The character has been around since the 1989-90 (according to Wikipedia), back then as a live show. Since then there have been movies, books, a TV series and like ten or so different live shows that are shown every summer at this zoo and amusement park down in southern Norway. This new movie is a reboot and the first of a trilogy I think.

It's really a character that most Norwegian children (or at least everyone I know) have some sort of relationship with. Everyone knows the name Kaptein Sabeltann at least.
