Tumblr's a bit of a minefield though -- you could post something that seems completely innocent and if ONE big name SJW finds it, they'll reblog it and you could be dealing with the shitstorm for weeks. And it has the potential to re-occur any time that post is reblogged.

I really dislike the atmosphere of the place truthfully, you REALLY have to watch your step. Everyone always assumes the worst and that malicious intentions exist where ignorance is a FAR more likely cause.

If someone referred to Tumblr as a 'minefield' because of people who post triggering material, the F!S crowd would mock the shit out of them. So I'm going to mock the shit out of you. Tumblr isn't a minefield. You don't need to watch your step. If people hurt your precious little baby feelings, scroll past it and get over it.

You don't sound like you have any idea how the 'F!S crowd' behaves at all. Go away.

I've never really felt the need to "watch my step," any more than other sites or meatspace (less so in a lot of cases.) The SJ-related things I see people getting serious shit for are things that would probably get them shit in the real world.

There were a lot of people who would get shit for making mistakes, especially depending on context and their tone, but most of the blogs I follow discourage that. It really depends on who you follow.

This is why I like LJ. LJ is not cool anymore. It's not worth anyone's time to comb through LJ to find offensive things.
