Sometimes. I read the comment sections of basically everything, they're my favorite part of any site (except Youtube, because Youtube's comments are too incoherent and made by literal children - seriously, the number of preteens on that site - these days). I've spent some time on Stormfront, Voxday, and various sites in what's called "the manosphere" (PUAs and MRAs, with a dash of atheists and libertarianism), Ladies Against Feminism, etc. Mostly I just like to use such places to better construct my arguments against their positions, since it's impossible to build a good debate in an echo chamber where everyone thinks like I do; some of it, though, is that even a broken clock makes a good point twice a day and I like to look for those nuggets. I can only take so much poison, though, before even tumblr starts to feel like a snuggly wuggly paradise.

You've got a thicker skin than me.

I've visited "the manosphere" and Stormfront before, and it made me want to light my computer on fire.

It's uniquely infuriating, isn't it? But I like to be able to drive such people up the rage wall in a debate without climbing it myself, so I try to take my inoculation now and then.
