What on fucks earth for? Write a new work of fiction. Jesus Christ. I don't see how people think changing a work that exists is better than creating new work that can reach new people. The only conclusion I can reach is that they want to co-op something that is already hugely popular because doing the work to get your own fiction popular is hard. boohoo.
