First and foremost who cares how he was cast in the movie? Even keeping Harry white, there are notable differences between his canon appearance and his movie appearance.

Secondly, most fanworks I've seen seem to acknowledge that if he weren't white, he'd be biracial. I've yet to see POC Lily.
