(Anonymous) 2014-10-02 04:05 am (UTC)(link)For my characters, well, I didn't mean that their sex life was a big part of the plot, just their sexuality. (Let me indulge by talking about my characters for a bit here lol) it's a pretty regular dystopian YA story idea, but the main character is a bisexual boy whose best friend is gay. MC is pretty oblivious to his friend's crush on him until they get separated and the MC starts realizing how much his friend meant to him, and how much his friend actually liked him. Part of the story is about the MC realizing that he loves him back, despite the fact that he had thought he was straight (and that he's still attracted to another female character). Ergo I think about them having sex sort of as a reward for all the crap they had to go through just to get together, and to see how they build up an intimate relationship from such a shaky base. I also think they cute.
