or you could be watching the show and seeing how pathetically and embarrassingly hard Moffat tries to one up RTD (never really succeeding, mostly because he forgets the emotion and concentrates on the timey-wimey side and ends up with a ridiculous mess of plotholes).

Or you could be watching the show and seeing it in a completely different fashion than that. You could be seeing it as I do.

Obviously we differ. Both RTD and Moffat are skilled writers, and both understand humanity in deep ways. They write and operate the show in ways that are superficially different, but fundamentally very similar: the importance of love, the difficulty of being human, the amazing world of the Whoniverse and how it affects humans brought into connection with it.

You could be watching the show with an appreciation for both writers and showrunners - both whom who apparently have a great deal of respect and affection for each other personally, and for each others' work.

In short, you watch the show and you interpret what you see in a far different fashion than I do. I've been a fan of Who, in one fashion or another, since 1965, and have been an active part of its online fandom since 2005. I have enjoyed both Uncle Rusty and The Moff. It's a win-win for me. I hope that you're able to enjoy the show in some fashion, despite your dislike of Moffat.
