Citation needed? Seriously, I'm 90% sure that most brony hate is just the usual acceptable targeting of awkward and unattractive guys, so when people say "Oh, all bronies do X" what they mean is "A brony was once reported doing X, and it is emotionally convenient for me to generalize this out to all of them." Let's face it, it's not like we don't see that pattern a lot.

No, no they aren't. People don't seem to realize that fans who identify as "bronies" are pretty much just... fans of the show. Male or female, as long as they're in the fandom. Believe it or not, most fans aren't sexually attracted to the ponies. They just love the series.

Sure, there's weird people out there, but that's like saying Pokemon fans are furries.
