...yeah, I can see how that would be tiresome. I've had the same sort of thing happen with my fellow anime fans. For instance, they'd been trying to get me to read/watch Death Note for the longest time, years even, and each time they tried I became more and more disinclined...but the airing of the dub finally prompted me to read it for real and I love it now. For all the wrong reasons, but still.

But yeah, I encourage you to at least try the game. Then at least you know for sure what your opinion of it is, and your friends won't be so pushy, right?

Word of advice, though, don't tell your friends that you played it until you finish or decide for good you don't like it. Otherwise they will probably shriek at you and it will be annoying.
