I've never liked A/B/O because to me it just comes across as kind of creepy. Not saying that's true for everyone, of course, but I feel like it's written in a way to have dudes fill stereotypical roles for women and then treat those women-roles like crap and I just don't like that.

Plus, I'm a fan of relationships between equals in fic and that seems to run counter to A/B/O in general.

It definitely sounds like it's not your thing, yeah.

I would suggest, though, that it's not so much that those who like it don't find it creepy, as that for them the creepy isn't a bug, it's a feature. Does that make sense?

for me it's more like, have dudes fill the (biological) roles of women so women are just completely obsolete. :|

that's not the main/only reason ABO isn't my thing, but it's definitely something that strikes me about it.
