There is nothing worse than a search on ao3 and the sinking feeling you get when virtually every search turns up a story that has six lines of tags attached to it. Sometimes I'm sure you must be able to get so many tags there is no point reading the story because it was all in the tags anyway. I've seen alleged stories with few words than the tags sections. AO3 needs to do something about the tag abuse, its the single biggest thing putting a lot of people off.

FUCK PEOPLE WHO POST 30 DRABBLES IN ONE STORY AND INCLUDE EVERY SINGLE TAG TANGENTIALLY RELATING TO ANY STORY WITHIN

So much yes. I get excited by the word count for a fic with my fave rare character in it and then it's a sodding drabble compilation 50 pages long with no indication which page my preferred fandom is on.

Drabble writers, please index your multi fandom epic drabble posts on AO3. Is that too much to ask?
