What's so weird about buying porn with a credit card?

Because you can get anything for free online? o.O Pay sites have members who download the exclusive content to their computers and then upload it to free porn sites for everyone to see.

Nothing stays exclusive forever, so why pay for something that'll pop up in a week at your fave free site, anyway?

Because even some porn viewers have morals? Or at least want to support their producers. "Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free" is a childish philosophy, unless you can't actually afford the cow or the milk.

not to mention a lot of the really quality stuff is locked up behind a paywall

You have to find that quality pay site stuff amongst like 95% of nearly-identical mainstream trash, and before it gets deleted (because anything unique is easy to recognize and report), or at least that's been my experience. I'm not even a big live-action porn consumer, I go browsing every couple of weeks, but it's so hard to find anything that deviates from the standard that I've seriously considered giving at least a couple of pay sites a try.
