8. I don't really ship anything in FMA (aside from blondepile), and I still vastly prefer the manga. I don't think either the anime or the manga sucks in an objective sense; it's just that they're two different kinds of stories, and so chances are most people will prefer one to the other, based on their personal tastes.

12. More character development would be nice, though... fights are nice, but rather dull when you don't care about the people who are fighting.

16. I vaguely thought there was a lot of OP gen out there...?

23. Emperor's New Groove? Suck? Those two things do not belong in the same sentence >:(

32. I think if I shipped anything from that movie, it would be Downey/Dawson.

43. I agree so much. Though this is a problem with a lot of shounen.

I'm trying to think of a shonen that has plenty of character development, but none comes to mind.

I'm not asking for plenty, just... a little more. And I did like the Ulqui-Ichigo-Grimmjow fight, because they all have distinctive personalities I can actually remember, which made it interesting.

Well yeah, I'd love it if writers made the effort to include more depth in shonen manga/anime, but after so long I kind of got used to the repetitive arcs and the sterotypes.

I love BLEACH characters, I can't think of a single character I don't like. Sometimes I do wish there would be more character development (and that the women took the spotlight for a little bit more), but since it's shonen it's to be expected that the fighting takes a lot more space than talk does.

This is why my favorite genre is mecha, there is action *and* plenty of character development (my two favorite things) in most anime/manga.
