Me too! I hate JPEGS because they always artifact. Everything I make is either a PNG or a GIF (if animated).

Well, paint for one. and a lot of people do still use paint.

Personally, I have a computer that JPG is the most advanced format I can save images as. And another that's so old, I can only save images as a BMP. Obviously I don't use that one to edit pictures, but there are a lot of people that have old or crappy computers (or use public computers that don't give many options.)

I'm not trying to be argumentative, I'm just saying... In all fairness, not everyone can. I know how frustrated I used to be, when I couldn't and it seemed like everyone else was doing it.

You can save images as PNG on paint. I do it all the time.

Uh, fair enough? My original comment was "People need to start saving their secrets as .png instead of .jpg" and not "EVERYONE NEEDS TO STOP USING JPEG RAR RAR RAR." The fact that you can't save images as PNG if you don't have a program to do so was sort of implied in that, I thought.

*cringe* Really, no. .jpg is good enough, .pngs are unnecessarily big and take a long time to load, especially for people with crappy internet connections.

Why do you care about the quality of the image when it's the MESSAGE that counts?

I find it hard to read/look at things that are blurry due to pixelization, like I found my eyes crossing three sentences in to secret 18. It's kiiind of hard to take the message of a secret seriously when you... can't read the message.

YOUR MILEAGE MAY VARY, I did not intend for that comment to speak for what everyone should do, I was just bitching, etc etc.

I checked 18. It's not really that bad, but I have to admit I'm a bit of a graphic nitpicky bitch, so I can see where you'd get annoyed by it.

There are good fonts/better colors/outer lining on fonts that may help with that without having to resort to .png.

My computer personally is fast, but I can see other people dying under +40 .png images, some of which on tinypix which makes the loading time even longer.

Haha, I generally don't either, but then I started making graphic-heavy layouts with .png's because at least THEY DON'T DEGENERATE INTO SUCKTASTICNESS but people cringed and hit me over the head with it. XD
