1. It sort of IS the same thing, but...I don't think that's really a bad thing. Really, is there anything wrong with pretending? I think imagination is a wonderful thing, as long as you don't get...so caught up in fantasy that you can't see reality. You don't sound like you'd be like that.
(And, for the record? I keep wanting to app one of them, too XDD)

3. I have the same fear sometimes. A lot of the time. Funny thing, though, the final part is a bit of a reverse for me--KH made me like Final Fantasy. I've never really stopped loving Disney. XD *Disney nerd*

4. ...How can you hate a ship without even seeing a show? Do you not like the actors together? Or...what? Seriously, that doesn't make any sense. XD;

5. I'VE BEEN SAYING THE SAME THING!! It drives me NUTS because I REALLY adore Fakir and Ahiru, but it seems like Rue and Mytho have become the unwanted step-children of the fandom. WHY? They're just as complicated and deep as Fakir and Ahiru, and their relationship isn't as 'perfect' and 'fairytale' as you might think at first, so it's not like it's not interesting enough to explore through fanfiction (I mean, good gosh, Rue has plenty of issues that would make their relationship complicated, and Mytho is in love with a girl that LITERALLY RIPPED HIS HEART OUT!!)...is it just that people are so unsatisfied with the ending for Fakir and Ahiru that they're compelled to write about them and forget about Rue and Mytho? Or what?

8. ...Personally, I like them both just about equally. Just sayin'. I think I like the anime slightly more just because I love angst and it's a little less typical shounen, but...I think it's really hard to say that "the characters are boring" when they're the SAME characters. Yeah, the second half of the anime isn't anything like the manga, but...the first half the anime is pretty close to the manga. You don't sound like you find the first half of the anime to be incredibly boring, so...I think you just like the anime better and have gotten so bitter about people liking the manga more that you'd rather think it sucks. ^^;

16. I'm so glad to see this secret. XD;; I'm scared off from KH and FMA fandom a lot because of all the yaoi fangirls. Actually, I think the yaoi fangirls in those fandoms have made me hate yaoi more than I normally would.

19. Agreed, particularly people getting angry because someone doesn't share an OTP.

23. Dude, I love that movie!! It's 'silly', but I like silly. It's probably one of my favorite Disney movies--I've watched it SO many times.

24. He IS hot. In both the English dub and Japanese sub. (I will probably get killed by sub fans for saying that, but Cary Elwes = <3)

29. I'm a Misa fan, too. I think she's really interesting.

31. I ship Haruhi with...Tamaki, AND Kyota, AND both the twins. I can't decide at all. I'm pretty much happy with everything XD;;

33. Ooh...I remember it...kinda. It's been a while since I've seen it, but I used to watch it all the time as a kid. Both the original and the "New Quest Adventures"

...Gosh you all made me rant today.

On 5, speaking for myself, it's largely just that I can't get a grasp on Rue and Mytho's voices. Fakir and Ahiru, I feel somewhat comfortable writing. Rue and Mytho... I do love them dearly, but I can't write them. But it is, in part, also what you said... Fakir/Ahiru had a very unsatisfying ending, while I was really quite satisfied with the ending of Rue/Mytho.

Out of curiosity, have you read this fic? It's a great look at Rue and Mytho after the series. ♥

In agreement with you! I can't seem to write Mytho/Rue at all. Even when I do include them in fics, I have so much trouble writing them or feeling like I'm pinning their characters at all. ^^; I even tried writing them in AU and had a lot of trouble.

But yes, I also agree with the happy and not happy endings for each. Fakir and Ahiru's ending really did leave more to be desired. You could do more with Mytho and Rue, too. Exploring the effects of raven's blood on them or their new life in Mytho's kingdom, but I just... can't write it. XD;

Yeah, I can understand that. Honestly, I have problems with Fakir's voice, so that might be part of the reason I, in turn, don't write much Fakiru. XD;;

As for that fic, yes, I've read it. <3 I adore it. Particularly bits like Mytho not liking runny eggs.
