And here's where I think differently from fandom and I don't begrudge you of your opinion at all.

But aren't they looking for specific hearts? I may be wrong here, but aren't they looking for their individual heart that was taken by the heartless? So it's not so much "get moooore" as "get that one". Though you have a point, but I attribute that to Xemnas being a fucking nutjob. And, hey, I may be wrong. I've only played the game twice. :is made of fail:

Also, I may be biased because I hate Riku to death, which means I hated Sora's big old "I GOTTA FIND HIM OMG" goal in the game. Aaaaand Axel is my favorite. And Roxas deserved a kick in the nuts. And Larxene was the coolest bitch ever.

I never got the sense they were looking for their specific hearts. :O Especially given that that's essentially what happened with Roxas, getting his own heart back, and yet they all treat this as a bad thing, trying to call Roxas out of Sora, I got the impression they wanted to just Get Hearts.

And if they were looking for specific hearts, there'd be no point in going after individuals like Beast with the specific goal of making them lose their hearts and become Nobodies. :O

No, that doesn't work. They wanted to keep Roxas because he was one of them and a keyblade user. If the whole Twilight Town incident had not happened, they wouldn't have given a damn about Sora since having Roxas was just as good. But Roxas got curious and screwed up Xemnas's plans. Thus, they set about manipulating Sora instead.

I dunno... I know it was Xigbar's job to actually recruit people. Maybe thye just needed more power? No idea. :loses this argument:

Riku in KH2 was a big of a whiny baby. He was okay in the last hour of the game, but goddamn. And, dude, Larxene needs her own fannish following. She reads de Sade, for goodness sake! :is a little in love with her:

... What? Wait, I... What? He... his situation was awful and angsty and I sure as hell wouldn't have wanted my best friends to see me like that, and... he didn't even really complain... You didn't mean to type KH1, did you? Because he was a tiny jerkass throughout most of that one. If anything, KH2 is where he's settled and is taking responsibility and stoically shouldering his burden. O_o;

I am a bit of a Larxene fan if it helps :D I don't see much I could DO with her, since basically it's "yay! evil and hurting and sadism~" but goodness me is she entertaining as hell to watch.

Sorry about the RP journal -- too busy to log out (it's

harukami here). They were trying to get hearts, Saix said, because if they gathered *enough* hearts they could make Kingdom Hearts and use it to make a new world, where they would have hearts. I'm not sure whether or not they had proof their theory would work. At the same time, they were being very picky about it (mostly sending heartless at Sora, rather than going and killing people) and a lot of times when people THOUGHT the Org was responsible for a heartless uprising,t hey were wrong (something a number of "the org were evil!" people have overlooked) -- ie, the MCP taking over and producing heartless was something Sora originally attributed to the Org, but they had nothing to do with it.

they also would target certain individuals to try to take their hearts, ie, the Beast, because they knew those individuals were stubborn enough to make Nobodies. I attribute that to a staffing problem, what with, you know, Axel having arranged the destruction of half the Organization, Roxas running off, Axel running off, etc. They still had their plans underway, had limited time to complete, had to deal with Sora being awake right then, no Roxas to work with, and limited staffing. Of course they'd try to find replacements. Not a moral decision, but a necessary one.
