I don't know how she was an Apprentice, but she's kind of terrible on RHONJ. She's extremely petty, hold grudges, makes passive aggressive digs at her friends and family and then tries to play them off as jokes, and has gotten physical more than once. Which isn't enough to send someone to jail of course, but it definitely shows she's an image and wealth obsessed person who could definitely commit fraud if it meant keeping her in an $11 million mansion and designer clothing. She's getting the jail time she deserves, and it's been driving me nuts that the show talks about it as "the terrible ordeal she's going through" rather than "she's living with the consequences of a lot of mistakes she consciously made."

I feel bad for her kids, though. They're rude little monsters, but their parents going to jail is not going to fix that.

+1 to all of this. Though I actually think most of her kids are OK. Milania, however, is a nightmare, and I can only imagine it will get worse.

I also wonder how much of the fraud Teresa was aware of. I go back and forth. Sometimes I'd kind of believe that she was stupid enough to just sign whatever Joe gave her, but then I remember she's managed to turn her RHONJ role into a money making band, so how dumb could she be? (And either way she deserves the jail time, especially after she and Joe FAILED TO DISCLOSE EVERYTHING ON THEIR FINICAL DISCLOSURE FORMS FOR THE COURT. SMH.)

Yeah, same. She can't have been totally clueless, but she's not exactly a criminal mastermind, either. I'm guessing she knew what was going on and let it slide because she got everything she wanted and it didn't seem like they'd get caught. I wouldn't be surprised if more came out about her brother and the Manzos, too.

That's sort of how I feel about it too. I feel bad for the kids in all of this, but I know the family and that they are all looking over the kids.
