Darn-tootin' it is, but if you didn't read so poorly, you might have noticed I said "don't provide OTHER leads to run with." The implication being to not do that if what you want is for people to respond to the first thing you said.

But you all are boring me now.

Normal humans who engage in normal conversations are capable of responding to more than one "lead," and don't use the existence of one to completely avoid acknowledging another (unless there's something about the other that makes them uncomfortable, or that would wound their puffed-up ego).

My mistake for not realizing you were only capable of grasping one concept at a time and would therefore be more likely to choose the one that didn't require you to admit your argument was full of holes big enough to drive a semi through.
