I hatewatched Sword Art Online. It was painful. Doubt I'm going to do the second season. I did it because I was bored and it was decent for the first episode or so. Thought I might as well grit my teeth and finish it. An anime blooger's posts helped me a bit.

OMG, same!
But for me it was mostly that I was so stunned by how every episode was just a bit more awful than the previous. Even when you thought the series had hit rock bottom, no, the next episode was WORSE.
I made furious posts about it every week on my facebook and ranted about the episode the minute it came out.
It was weirdly fun, but I too think I will skip the second season because it's not worth my time.

I watched the dub, so Kirito got on my nerves a lot. His voice actor was just terrible and made him even more insufferable.

Thought about trying out the second if only because Asuna supposedly has an arc focused on her. Curious too see how badly it screws up her character even more. Also, SAO still loves attempted rape and sexual assualt.

The only characters I like are Klein and Agil. I'd watch a spinoff focusing on those two, if only Reki Kawahara wasn't not involved.
