How much has your life changed since you started posting here

We've got people who've been here for years, and gone from highschool to the working world.

Regale us with how time keeps slipping away.

I think I was still in high school when I started here. I also made all my secrets in Paint. Good times.

I'm the opposite. I used to make fancy secrets, but now I just use paint.

I'm really not into any fandoms but will read up on discussions of an episode I've watched. So as a result, the General Comments page is my fandom!

I think I've been lurking around here for about three or four years.

In that time I've moved three times (the final time I moved out from my parents and am now living by myself!), graduated high school, become a big sister twice, got my first job, begun university, and for the most part overcome depression and am currently, for the first time in ages, happy with who I am most of the time.

Life feels a lot better now than it did a couple of years ago.

Well, iirc I was still in college when I started posting, so quite a lot.

I think that, as a person, I was more optimistic but more of a dick.

I'd like to believe I'm somewhat of a better person now, but that's subjective I guess. Also I used o post more secrets - but that might be because I had more secrets, I'm more likely to just say things openly now and not be ashamed.

None at all. I've only been here (on DW fs) for about a year. And I've only been in this discussion part for about 5 months. So I'm a relative noob? Lol.

Eh, it hasn't changed that much, and I've been here for several years. I'm still married, I'm still working... Nothing too drastic.

I was in high school and in my ~social justice phase~ when I was posting here under an old account. I have since gone to college, finished college, gone to university and dropped out, gone back to college, and come back to university, where I am now. Worked, dated, got laid and made an entirely new set of friends and almost entirely changed my life philosophy and belief system in that time. I'm now much less anxious, less depressed and more mature, confident and open-minded. I reckon I've had some A+ character development and hopefully I'll continue to do so. Most of my life changes happened in the last two years actually, but yeah a lot has changed in the few years since the very first time I posted on F!S.

I've been following F!S since pretty much the start, when I was in High School. I graduated moved to another city, first studying Religious Science, then Art History, before moving to live with my mother for 6 months (and being unemployed, that was fun). Moved to my old hometown (found a job), went back to school (and moved 6 hours away from home) after a year where I started my BA in Film and Television Studies, which brings us neatly up to now where I am in my third year of that BA.

In that time I've also had partners, one of my best friends stopped talking to me, found a lot of new friends, got a cat and all around have everything a lot more in control than I did when I started out, also somehow along the way I grew up.

Gosh, I was in high school when I started reading here, though I don't remember when I really started posting. That was a long, long time ago... I think I've definitely changed (hopefully improved) a lot as I've become more of an adult/real person.

I did take a break for awhile after a RL friend was mentioned on here (or maybe LJ secret? Don't remember-- once upon a time, I read both).

Went from high school to university in a different country,
got in really good with those who would begin my network for my career,
ended a relationship,
watched a friend bounce between one university and the next and back and out to the second one again,
watched a friend losing herself to a hairdresser/piercer in Peru,
lost a close family member and one who wasn't so close,
started a relationship,
moved all over my (new) city,
a few seasonal jobs,
developed a choral program in a non-profit (which then folded, much to my dismay),
ended a relationship,
finished university, part 1,
remade an old friend,
found my favorite roommate to date,
got my first "real job" after months of unemployment and a permit running out fast,
finally relinquished my adolescent hold on some old friends,
started university again to make my career "official" in the public system.

There have been none too few performances liberally salted throughout, and all of that entails, along the way.

That got longer than I though it would. Huh. The more I think about this timeline, the more I remember. It's pretty cool.

tl;dr: lots of moving, starting and finishing and starting university, two relationships, much performing, and a bit of growth.

I remember being at the end of highschool/starting college and used to hate this place. Lots of things happened during the course of those years; bad things, good things, things that made me grow up and think differently...

I can definitely say I'm more mature now, thank goodness. I also don't hate this place anymore hahaha~

half a year? I've started reading fs when I was on a trip - it's an awesome place for a low dose fandom quick fix, some familiar faces. Some secrets where linked to me before that by my friend though, so I've been aware of this comm for longer.

Nothing changed much, no progress, no regress.
