That's hilarious, OP. ;D I actually remember this show/book and didn't think it was too obnoxiously Christian, but I'm a lot more sensitive about religion now than I was as a kid, so I dunno. I remember it mostly being sweet and Disneylike.

I remember it as being a sort of quieter and less melodramatic Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. Don't know if I'd still think that on a rewatch, though.

It probably wasn't *obnoxiously* Christian, but the fact that the friend trying to get me to watch it was pretty religious and that I recently noticed it was airing on a Christian-themed channel (what caused me to be reminded me of my 13 year-old self's silliness in the first place) is enough to turn me off. (The same channel also shows Dr. Quinn, which I watched in it's early seasons and didn't notice any significant religiosity.)
