I think it is to do with the way people start screaming for thread freezes and IP logging whenever there is anything even slightly less than whitebread. And that Case often gives in. That's made certain anons turn it into a game, who can post something that will be the first to provoke the scream for thread freeze/deletion/IP logging. Having said that, Case has been pretty restrained recently, a few more months of not deleting, freezing, or logging, and F!S might be officially decontaminated. Right now it is still caught in the vicious cycle of the conerners and the genuine trolls.

There is all the anti-Moffat crap too, but they are starting to get slapped down hard too now by the rest of the comm, so things are on the up.

I don't really get how that makes it more like tumblr tho, especially because there's no reason to believe the anons who ask for deleting/freezing are representative of most of the group. In general I think F!S is way more levelheaded and reasonable about things than tumblr, or at least the parts of tumblr people hate.
