Perhaps in the right hands, but a lot of the crossdressing punchlines boil down that some dude was tricked into liking another dude.

Or is unfeminine. That is why crossdressing jokes are inherently transphobic. Either the person doing it is too convincing and is a "trap" or they are too unfeminine and therefore a figure of fun.

The world doesn't revolve about you. Not everything is transphobic. Grow up. A crossdressing joke is a joke about crossdressing, not some kind of evil transphobic agenda.

(Anonymous) 2014-10-13 12:48 am (UTC)(link)
Riiiiight, because transwomen are never abused for looking unfeminine and transmen are never abused for looking unmanly.

(Anonymous) 2014-10-13 12:54 am (UTC)(link)
And an unfeminine cis girl or a feminine cis boy won't be abused amirtie. It's just a trans problem!

(Anonymous) 2014-10-13 01:38 am (UTC)(link)
If a cisgender individual is deliberately misgendered as a way of abusing them, it is still transphobia. Just like Homophobia doesn't only affect gays, but also hets who appear gay; or like racial profiling can affect whites who, even though they have no mixed race ancestry, are still deemed to possess features that do not match own race, being the victim of transphobia is not limited to just trans people.

I-I...I...

Holy shit. Different anon here, but I really have no words for this. And people wonder why I'm so anti-SJW huh.

(Anonymous) 2014-10-13 02:42 am (UTC)(link)
No. You have one word.

"Intersectionality"

Your welcome.

(Anonymous) 2014-10-13 08:34 am (UTC)(link)
uh, it's not like anything the other anon said was wrong. if a straight kid is beaten up and called a "fag" it's because of homophobia, it doesn't become "heterophobia" because he happens to be straight. he's still being attacked for being perceived as gay.

if a masculine looking cis woman is being called a man, there's some sexism, homophobia, AND transphobia at play in that scenario, regardless. f_s has gone so ~anti-SJW~ that even when they make a valid point you all gawk and act as if they're being ridiculous. they're not.

I-I...I...I don't see what's so hard to understand here, anon. Try thinking about it instead of trying to prove how edgy and anti-SJ you are.

+1

why is this so hard to understand
