Yeah, it is. The person who replied a few comments down said it well. I never thought I'd find people who supported me so much despite my utter...broken-ness. Probably helps that they all have their own demons, but I'm the only one who still hasn't got past them at all. They make me feel like I can someday.

And I thought the same thing, but I still like the picture. Kind of funny (not in a bad way) how more people are commenting on it than the secret though.

I've never found a character who I identified with as much as I do with River. I see myself in many characters, but she's the only one I would say I "am".

I posted a secret four years ago about some of our similarities (I've realized there are even more since then), and our main differences. One was that she had a place to call home and people who were there for her. I wonder if anyone's still around who remembers that. It was a low-quality JPEG.

I think OP is saying s/he has some issues and feels isolated but found their "crew" - people that love and accept and protect them - anyway. I've been the "River" in a crew of people who helped protect me and watch/helped me grow and heal before so I get it. A crew is a lovely thing to find.

I don't know about anyone else, but I wouldn't risk giving up my identity by mentioning who made the fanart. Maybe some people don't worry about that.
