Dory.

Mulan. Lion King and Sleeping Beauty are my favorite Disney movies, but Mulan is my favorite leading lady. Not just because she's action girl, but because she's proactive, she knows what she wants, and she wants to protect her family. She speaks up for herself and for others. She's what I want to be. Belle is pretty awesome too.

Mulan, because the honourable trickster/guile hero hits so many of my buttons, and the fan trick on the roof made me cheer the first time I saw it.

Honourable mentions: Alice, Bianca, Belle, Megara and Lilo from the animated canon, Maleficent if villains are allowed, and Mary Poppins and Eglantine Price if live action is allowed.

Belle! She's just like me (except her hair is long and her eyes are brown, IIRC) - we have basically the same personality and hobbies.

Elsa. Badass queen. No romantic interest. Sexy as hell.

Mulan. I really like her dorky side and her ingeniosity.
Although Esmeralda is really close from being my favorite.

Vanellope.

I find her being ostracized for being different hits home more than Elsa's, though it's basically a personal thing.

Probably a tie between Belle and Mulan.

Esmeralda! She's tough, sexy and extremely kind-hearted. And "God Help the Outcasts" is one of the best (if not THE best) Disney songs ever.

Honorable mention to Megara, Aurora, Mulan and Ariel!

Not really "leading" lady, but Helga Sinclair has always had a special place in my ~~loins~~ heart

Tiana. I've always admired hard work more than talent and she's so warm and caring and just makes me happy.

It's either Mulan or Belle for me. I think Belle though because she's into books and is a dreamer.

Esmeralda. Largest boobs.

Jasmine, because of her courage in more ways than one. She also loved Aladin more when he wasn't pretending to be a prince and part of me still to this day thinks that's adorable.

Tiana, because she's a workaholic like me who happened to accidentally stumble into something wonderful :)

Elsa, because independence and being true to yourself and who you are, even in the face of fear and rejection. And because she and Anna could be me and my sister.

Belle, because of bravery and bookishness and wit.

Maleficent, because power and That Voice and the ability to turn into a dragon.
