I think drawing blood is crossing the line. But sometimes you have to make a believer out of a child. Just ~talking~ ain't doing shit.

The world is going to hit them harder than Mom and dad ever will, better they learn from Mom and Dad just how bad it can get before they mouth off to someone that won't settle from just drawn a little blood and will rearrange their face with a bottle. They fit in better in the workplace too if they have been taught how to say "yessir" and "right away, sir" rather than think their opinion is worth a damn thing. Too many little shits coming through the door thinking they are little princes and princesses who can say whatever passes through their mind and think the world is unfair when it asks them to put a shoulder to the wheel. Kids need a good thrashing to get them prepared for this world. Let 'em know what pain is now, so they can avoid a lot more of it later.

Sometimes you get one that is just so damn wilful that you flat out need to break them, for their own good. All they are going to do is be a troublemaker for life if you don't.

While we are at it, we should just go ahead and sexually assault our daughters. I mean, the real world might sexually assault them even harder. Better they learn it from Daddy and Mommy! And don't forget our sons! If that little bastard joins the football team, he may have to deal with sexual hazing. So just hold him down and fondle him a bit. It'll teach him how unfair the real world is.
