Same. And I feel a little extra insulted when it's about a same-sex couple. Like they're implying that's the sole reason it's "never gonna happen".

Well, my guess would be because there's not actually a single shred of evidence that the two characters have even the slightest romantic interest in each other.

It's rude, but it's still not gonna happen. Literally every relationship they've had in both ATLA and Korra has been the straightest, most conventional relationship they possibly could have. This is not the show to expect two open lesbians/bisexual women.
