YES! I LOVED THOSE AS A KID! Those were such weird books! The part where they make the ice cream that tastes like each kid is something I will remember until the day I die.

Yes! That stuck with me the most. That, and the kid that wore a ton of raincoats and eventually turned out to be a dead rat.

You know, now that I think about it, that has to at least be on par with some of Roald Dahl's stuff on levels of creepiness.

And it was something like the fifth dead rat that had tried to sneak into the classroom that year.

I loved that it was a super tall school because the builders had the map held the wrong way.

And the kid who was allowed to skip class whenever after he signed a form saying he chose being free over being safe. I remember thinking my Libertarian relatives would have probably liked that kid.

Also the teachers with the backwards reptile/amphibian names. Ms Gorf, Ms Nogard, Ms Drazil, etc. And Ms Nogard (I think) reading the kids' minds and saying whatever would upset them the most, until she stopped being so bitter.
