I agree. That whole "I'm glad they're showing they can be loving friends without it having to be romantic!" thing is kind of a annoying thing to say, because there's tons and tons of great same sex friendships in media, while there are almost no same sex relationships. But the way people say it you'd think it was the other way around. Is it so bad for us queer people to hope to see a romantic relationship once in a while? :(
