I love this BBC!Sherlock that has Sherlock talking in random languages and John understanding him, even if he does not know the language, he speaks "Sherlock", anway that has both John translating Sherlock and translations at the end of each chapter or hover over text thingy, possibly both.

I like it when characters speak other languages, but I expect there to be some kind of translation given, if not then I just get annoyed and loose half my enjoyment of the fic.

Also which fic?

It's a Steve/Bucky fic where Steve proves that he can handle all of Bucky, even the Winter Soldier parts. And there is a lot of Bucky talking dirty in various languages. Super hot.

See, to me things like Bucky coming out of the Winter Soldier programming and slipping into Russian, or Natasha in her early days with SHIELD doing the same... that's an important character beat and including the language rather than "she said in Russian" or whatever, makes far more sense to me.

Of course you provide a translation but just writing it in english loses the effect.
