I understand being worried for your friend and you're a good person to take care of her while she's sick. But... are there other complications to feeling sick/low grade fever related to her accident? I'm a little confused because I wouldn't think it was weird if my parents didn't rush over if I had the flu. It'd be weird if they did, actually, because I'm an adult and living on my own. They'd totally do it if it was an emergency, but not for regular illnesses.

+1. I feel like there's more to the story that I'm not hearing, or that I'm equally insensitive. For myself, I'd rather be left alone than have someone hovering over me - even if I'm *supposed* to have someone hovering over me, I don't like it.
