High 4-point million in the recent episodes, which isn't too far from the low 5-point million that some of the later season 1 episodes got. If it keeps going down then the series may not be renewed for another season, but considering both Hannibal and Arrow had much lower ratings and were still renewed, that doesn't mean much. The most recent episode had higher ratings than The Flash and even Supernatural, which shared its time slot.

SA

Oh sorry, those were viewers, not ratings. The ratings say 1.7/5 for Tuesday's AoS episode, which means 1.7% of all households were watching and 5% of households watching at that time were watching it. Still better than Supernatural's ratings, and it was beat out by--among other things--a couple series premieres. I'd still say it's fine.

Supernatural is airing on a niche network - the CW has a much lower bar than the mainstream networks. You need to compare it to viewing ratings for other shows on the same network.

Don't forget cost. It is an expensive show to run, far moreso than the others. Really it needs to be being compared to NCIS, since it is marketed as NCIS with superheroes. How does it stack up against NCIS, it needs to be doing at least 50% of NCIS's ratings to be a success.

It that's the standard:

Tuesday's NCIS: New Orleans--2.2/6 (which is the one on at 9)

It's doing better than half of NCIS's ratings at 1.7/5. If you compare it to the regular NCIS (2.5/8, at the 8 time slot) it's doing a little less than half of the rating but over half of the share. Still doing fine.

Unrelated, but I love NCIS: New Orleans so much. Story lines? Characters? Who cares! I just listen to the accents and melt.

The ABC network on Tuesday:

Selfie (8 pm slot)--1.0/3
Manhattan Love Story (8:30 pm slot)--0.9/3
Agents of Shield (9 pm slot)--1.7/5
Forever (10 pm slot)--1.1/3

By the numbers alone, Tuesday's Agents of Shield episode did better than the rest of their evening line up (I'd compare it to the day in general, but those numbers weren't available.) So, still fine.
