7. I'm tired of it, too. A male friend of mine got soooo pissed at me for not getting into one of the shounen manga he loves. I couldn't stand the way the women were plot devices/romantic interests only and the excessive fanservice completely drove me away from it. I told him so and he says I'm just being short-sighted. :/
32. I've dealt with something similar. My parents thought it was my hobby with drawing that made me neglect things. When in truth I just procrastinate forever because that's...what I do. >>;
35. IAWTS. SO much. ...Seriously, I write it for fun too and I still do my best to use proper spelling and grammar and take time to work out and read over my work before sharing. But then effing English Majors have to come along and start to break down my writing and tell me what "annoying habits" I have in my style, etc. It's half the reason I've been working on fanfiction less and less for over a year now. I do it for fun, not because I want to be a professional writer for a career as something. If people don't like the styles and human mistakes, then they shouldn't read it. :/
