I think joking can also be trolling when it is in the form of obviously false statements presented as true.

I suppose, on some level, that's true and it depends on how you define it.

The point I want to make, I guess, is that I think the motivation probably has more to do with finding it funny than with any malicious intent to fuck with people or get people angry or find things unpleasant. Whether or not that's still trolling, idk.
