Why would from all accounts a funny, interesting, intelligent person be in a relationship with another funny, interesting, intelligent person who moves in the same social circles as them? Why isn't Jennifer just going for other sexy young people, like Taylor Lautner or Justin Bieber? Why isn't Chris only dating other rich old people like Madonna or Donald Trump? This is a world gone MAD!

He can't be that interesting or intelligent to have not only married Goopy, but bred with her and named it Apple—oh, and to have played a part in Coldplay's music.

Thank you for your worthwhile contribution to this thread - no one has ever made fun of Goop, Coldplay or the name Apple before, so this was like a breath of fresh air.

Meanwhile, calling Chris Martin "funny, intelligent, and interesting" was an admirable aside of experimental writing, but it doesn't relate to the human experience, and therefore doesn't resonate at all.

It's pretty gross to refer to a person as an 'it'.

I genuinely can't remember what gender Apple is. (Girl?) I can see where you're heading, though. Don't try to turn this into a social justice thing.

People call babies 'it' in that context all the time. Petty arguments like this drag down all discussion on gender.

+1 Guess you really annoyed a Coldplay fan, though.

They're both pretty mediocre people imo.
