As I said further down: The secret was already too full, but I also am not very fond of what could be seen of Dorian's character. The Iron Bull - depends on how he turns out in the game, I can probably get over the design if he's well written. But Dorian just ... isn't my cup of tea.

Hmm, I haven't been watching or reading everything about the game (trying to keep an element of surprise!) so Dorian might turn out to be an enormous douche who doesn't deserve love, but I find that most BioWare characters are sympathetic in their own way and figure there will probably be something good about him. If he isn't your type though, not much you can do about that. I hope he surprises you, though! (Not necessarily in a 'I need to romance this guy' way, just in a 'I don't hate his guts' way.)

True. I'm really curious about the whole "characters will leave the group when they don't like you" (similar to how it was in Origins but not as easy to buy their love with presents, I think) when he (or any other character) turns out to be an ass/someone I or my Inquisitor - depending how I play him - wouldn't like in the group. Could get interesting!

I have a feeling there's going to be at least one person to leave me behind... (Surprised Oghren never did, tbh.)

Just hope it isn't someone I like. It could be a cool thing, though. Certainly realistic, and might make the stakes feel higher and the characters feel more fleshed out.

I accidentally killed Wynne on my run with a mage Warden in Origins, because I was playing him to hate the circle and all things associated and the "I want to see the Circle burn" during the Fade quest... didn't go over well. And I was all "°A° Noooo, not the healer! I still needed her!".

I really hope you can steer it properly, though. Because there were a lot of times I chose an answer option in II where Hawke ended up saying something completely different than was written in the choice and it turned the situation more hostile than I intended (and I like to talk my way out of situations in those games). And I really hope that will not be the case in DA:I - because as realistic as it is to piss off people over a misunderstanding, that is not a challenge I want to have to deal with in a game as well.

Poor Wynne! I know Wynne isn't someone who people gush over, but I found her likable and sweet. She was nice to have around, and of course incredibly useful as well. I can't imagine playing through Origins without a (healer) mage in your party...lol. (You must've still made it with potions though, or Morrigan, so oh well!)

Ooo, I hear you there. In some cases the response Hawke gave was better than what was on screen, but it wasn't cool when the line felt different than what you selected. The game should run with what you choose.

Yeah I had a really bad conscience, so I took the easy way out and loaded an earlier save XD

Haha, it's a good thing Dragon Age lets you have so many different save files! I have a million 'just in case'.
