Yeah, I mean, I would prefer it if game companies would stop throwing half-finished games onto the market and then fix it afterwards with tons of patches, but on the other hand... it sucks when a game gets pushed back again and again.

Yep, exactly my dilemma.

The most infamous one on my personal interest list (FFXV) holds my attention because I am really wondering how long it will take. I'm not even sure if I'll play it at this point, but it's taken so long that one of the games announced alongside it back in the day just celebrated its four year anniversary. It's topped the Last Guardian for dev hell time, too.

(Edited for silly typos.)

Yes, I'm very curious if they will keep the 2015 release date for FFXV. Granted, I'd need a PS4 before then, but I'd really like to play it (especially since I haven't played a FF since XII).

Me too! Square Enix is recovering from some pretty heavy profit loss, so they'll probably make a bigger effort than they have been.

I've been playing the XIV reboot and picked up the original version of Type-0 even before the fan translation came out, but I'm hoping XV will be interesting. They're bringing in Crisis Core/Type-0's head now that Nomura's stepped down, so it's possible things are already changing again. We'll have to see!
